Baltasar Garzon - Spain's most famous judge

New prime-time NBC current affairs show “The Wanted”, from production company Teddy Bright productions called RedHill producer Ben Dornan late last month. They were having problems tying down a telephone interview with Spanish crusading superjudge Baltasar Garzón for a forthcoming show about a renowned international terrorist mastermind.

Garzón is famous among the news gathering community worldwide for not talking to foreign media – and has a specific policy of not talking about current cases. Nevertheless, we took up the challenge, hit the phones, and took the direct route  by heading straight down to his office at  the Audiencia Nacional in central Madrid. After a few hours of sweet talking staff, secretaries, and the great man himself, the crucial telephone interview was secured.

Charlie Ebersol, one of the show’s producers was understandably grateful, “It went really well. Great work today. Thank you so much!”

So there you have it. RedHill can open doors that otherwise might stay firmly locked. For all your production service, research, and fixing needs please don’t hesitate to call on us!
