Ben and I have both worked extensively as VJs for various entertainment shows. Marlooz is an experienced one -(wo)man-band filmmaker. After managing her own production company for years, she decided to get hands-on again and return to her original passion of shooting films. Though she still shoots corporate videos, Marlooz is a versatile video journalist specializing new media content. She’s also something of a tech geek, frequently speaking at web television and technology conferences (when she’s not filming them!). DON
Don has over 15 years experience in the film and video business. He is an accomplished producer and video editor having served such clients as ESPN, Discovery, TLC, PBS, CBS, Travel Channel, Black Entertainment Television, America’s Most Wanted, and many more. Don has cut a diversity of projects over years from corporate training and promotion videos to presidential campaign television ads. Don was recruited by ESPN’s production staff to create 2-3 minute features focusing on specific football players, which aired during Monday Night Football games. HARI
With a 3 year Diploma in Cinematography in 1989 from the Bangalore Film School, Hari started his career as a cameraman in the Development & Educational Communication Unit (DECU) of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Ahmedabad in 1990. In his 5 years as a staff Cameraman in DECU/ISRO, Hari has participated in more than 800 programs which encompasses production of documentaries, serials, corporate, training, scientific films and the like for transmission on Regional and National Network of Doordarshan (National Broadcaster). In 1995, moved to Delhi to work with TVI as a features cameraman. The job involved working on documentaries of different genre in the areas of culture, environment, social development and Urban India. Worked for nearly 50 documentaries that involved extensive travelling throughout India. As a freelancer since 1996, Hari has worked on a wide variety of network programs including lifestyle, travel, environment, observational, light entertainment, sports and current affairs genres for most of the main broadcasters and independent production companies of India. Has also worked on a number of OB Productions of Sports and live entertainment shows.
Hari is based in Bangalore since 2000 and has worked on Docus and Corporate films for a number of production houses from the USA, UK, Germany & France. Patrick has been in audio/video production since 1998. Starting as an audio tech, Sheehan has worked on feature and short films, including the Academy-Award Nominated “Johnny Flynton”, documentary films, national advertising and broadcast work for HBO, History Channel, Discovery, National Geographic and many more. Sheehan became a camera-operator in 2004 and has worked for The Learning Channel, History Channel, MTV, U.S. Army, and many others as well as documentary films including “Getwell”, “Haiti is on Fire” and “Man in the Glass: The Dale Brown Story”. Sheehan has shot interviews with Matthew McConaughey, John Wooden, Tim Brando, Shaquille O’Neal, Debbie Fields-Rose (Founder: Mrs. Fields’ Cookies), Brad Martin (CEO: Saks Fifth Avenue) and many others.

GEOFF
Geoff has been shooting video all over the US since 1983. In his distinguished and slightly schizophrenic career, he has worked as director of photography, director, producer, musician, commercial voice talent, composer, martial arts instructor, on-line editor, and has been known to wash the dishes on occasion. He has tremendous experience shooting interviews and b-roll for broadcast and corporate television, and routinely finding himself hip-deep in jibs, dollies, multi-camera productions, small independent feature films and series pilots. He has also been known to accept payment in the form of interesting single-malt Scotches. They have to be interesting, though. DREW
Drew has over 20 years of experience in video and film production with an emphasis on documentary work. In 1985 after graduating with an AA degree in Broadcasting, Visual Design and Production he worked for six years as a News Photojournalist in the Pacific Northwest. In 1991 he became a Freelance Camera Operator and Director of Photography working for National and International clients in many genres. Drew has experienced, truly hands on, the evolution of film technology from 3/4Ó tape and 16mm to all of the current High Definition formats. During this time he has been responsible for hiring, managing and directing crews in a wide range of television events, features, short films and documentaries. International projects have included documentaries in Nepal, Brazil, Guatemala and Israel. One of his most cherished memories is two months he spent in Nepal at a Buddhist monastery near Mt. Everest documenting a solar electrification project and the Mani Rimdu dance festival. MARK
Mark brings over twenty-five years of experience in producing films, videos and new media for clients worldwide. His programs and projects have spanned the news, sports, corporate and entertainment worlds, taking him to thirty-nine states and nineteen foreign countries. On the broadcasting side he has worked with NBC, ABC, ESPN, MSNBC, CNBC, MTV, The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Maury Show, The Danny Bonaduce Show, and Reuters Television, among others. In addition, he has directed numerous live concerts and special events. MARNIE
Beginning in 1986, Marnie had spent the first 10 years of her career running camera at several TV stations in Cleveland, Ohio. Then is 1997, she went freelance and has continued that path ever since. JOHN
Over the past 25 years, John has created award-winning, emotion-grabbing, and eye-appealing film and video work. Capturing people and emotional reality are his strengths as both a field producer and an editor. As an independent filmmaker, his films have screened in over 20 festivals worldwide. At home with any format from 35mm film to HDV, equally at ease with corporate CEOs, professional talent and the man-on-the-street, John’s talent and professionalism have won over many people. Joe has been providing high quality video services for industrial and commercial application since 1975. Being in the Detroit Michigan area many of his clients are automotive related and he has traveled extensively for these clients. Joe has shot in virtually every major market in the US and 23 foreign countries. He recently completed a project in Germany, Italy and the UK for one of the major automotive manufacturers that involved 60 individual interviews. PATRICK
Patrick is an award winning freelance cameraman based in Dublin, Ireland. A graduate of the National Film School, Patrick graduated with distinction in 2001. Some of his recent projects include the 16mm photography featured in the music documentary, Dambé, shot at the Festival au Desert, billed as the world’s most remote music festival in Mali, Africa. Other work includes a promotional video on coffee production shot in Ethiopia and Nicaragua. In 2008 Patrick shot a feature documentary on the trial of Ramush Haradinaj, a Kosovo Albanian who was tried at the Hague for war crimes. Patrick is currently shooting a feature documentary on the Irish based Japanese American animator, Jimmy Murakami. The film follows Murakami’s trip back to a prisoner of war camp in California where he spent part of his childhood. He has worked on many promotional projects for clients such as Guinness, Coca Cola and Micrososft and has also worked as a live perfomance cameraman for artists such as Roderigo & Gabriella, Fifty Cent and Josh Ritter. STEVE:
Steve is a multi-faceted, multi-talented producer, writer, videographer and editor, with a Master’s degree in Visual Anthropology from the University of Southern California. He couples this background in the social sciences with a sophisticated aesthetic sensibility to produce arresting video art that packs a punch both intellectually and emotionally. His works have been featured on PBS stations throughout the United States. He recently won a local Emmy award for his videography on an Anthropology series co-produced by KOCE, the southern California PBS affiliate, and Coastline Educational Systems.
Of late he has been specializing in large-scale language instructional videos in the principal Romance languages, French, Spanish and Italian, in addition to market research and promotional shorts. He is as comfortable going out on the streets and spontaneously capturing reality on the fly as he is doing rigorously detailed pre-production on a high-budget, high profile film. His vast technical and conceptual experience has prepared him for every possible assignment—documentaries, re-creations, video journalism, corporate press kits. MICHELLE
Michelle has over 23 years experience in the television and video business. She is an accomplished producer, videographer and video editor having served such clients as Hospice of Louisville and Southern Indiana, Kentucky Educational Television, Fort Knox MWR, MTV, Feed The Children, Turn Here Video Productions and Snippies of New York. Michelle has several professional awards to include a regional Emmy award, Addy awards and two Landmark of Excellence awards from the IABC/PRSA.
In her 20 plus years in video and broadcasting, Michelle has done everything from operating camera to directing live multi-camera productions for such clients as the National Quartet Convention in Louisville. She is at home shooting in the field, directing in the production truck behind the arena or stadium or alone in her editing suite.
In addition to the long-form productions Michelle completed while working at a local television affiliate, she has produced and edited two full length documentaries for Educational Television. “Saddles & Silks: A Jockey’s Story” is currently in international distribution through BFS Entertainment.

Phillip graduated from the University of Toledo in 2002 where he received the Dean’s Medal as the “Outstanding Graduate of the Department of Theatre & Film.” Soon after, he moved to Madrid, Spain and completed a post-graduate program in documentary filmmaking at the Madrid Cinema Institute (NIC). Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, Phillip’s technical skills and knowledge of Spain have come in handy to serve a variety clients, from the top American television networks to niche web TV portals.

WADDY
Waddy’s first job after graduating from George Washington University was as a production assistant for America’s Most Wanted. He left that job to garner a Master’s degree in broadcast journalism from Northwestern University. Since then, he has worked for television and radio stations both as producer and on-air talent.
Waddy began freelancing in 2002 as a way to merge his love of the offbeat and creative with the practical needs of content providers such as marketers and news organizations. The following year he received a Telly for promotional videos for Habitat for Humanity.
Waddy’s work has appeared on the CBS Morning News, Inside Edition, Tru TV as well as TV stations and publications throughout Florida. He recently field produced and scripted a 12 minute documentary on IROX, the largest road expansion project in the history of Florida. Larry has been weaving visual magic for the past quarter century. Brian graduated from Drexel University and for the past three years has been operating camera both in the studio and on remote shoots for Paul F Harron Studios in association with Drexel University Television. For the past two years, he has been cameraman for In Bed With Butch, covering countless events and celebrity interviews with the likes of Patti Smith, Shane West, and Bruce Vilanch. Lorella has produced major news events in Italy and throughout Europe and North Africa since 1996. After graduating from The University of Pittsburgh in 1999 (B.A., Film Studies) Geoff’s career has been primarily focused on documentary work, first in the US and most recently China. He’s proficient across multiple disciplines, capable of shooting, directing, editing and compressing whatever comes his way. Currently, he works entirely in HD and edits with Final Cut Pro, but can also produce content originating in various SD formats.
Over the years, he’s done work for clients like Lufthansa, Pepsi, Manulife, Axe, Vans, Listerine and the Seoul Board of Tourism. He’s worked with names such as Fab 5 Freddy, Niraj Chag, Jimmy Choo, Gary Fernandez and Quincy Jones to name a few. Geoff has experience leading various types of projects, including interviews, full length documentaries, marketing and promotional videos, event videos, music videos (for artists Ceann and Saul Zonana), and even cooking videos. Derek
As a Director and Director of Photography, Derek utilizes his talent and tenacity to create bright, impassioned digital feature films from conception to a completion. SYDNEY
ROGER
Roger has been a video journalist since l994 when he started shooting on a Hi8 camera and enrolled on Michael Rosenblum’s course for video journalism in Philadelphia. Since then he has combined written journalism with his role as a filmmaker and producer. He started his career with the BBC in London and has spent much of the past 20 years working for CNBC, ITN and The London Times. He has also written five books. But Maynard’s first love is filming. After spending much of his early career as a TV reporter, the birth of video journalism opened up a whole new world and gave him the confidence to start shooting his own pictures. Born in Montreal, Michael has been in Japan over 28 years. He shoots, produces, and directs in Japanese and English (or French) for broadcast and corporate clients. With a background in video art and training in pantomime, his framing and lighting are creative, handheld camerawork is smooth, and production quality is of the highest calibre.
